for real estate in South Lake Tahoe. There was a
market correction from the incredible rate of sales and
price increases during the previous three years. The
inventory of homes available for sale nearly doubled in
2006 and consequently, the number of sales
decreased. However, the median price continued to
rise. Real estate at Lake Tahoe will always be in strong
demand because there is such a limited supply. More
importantly, the supply of new homes is dwindling
every year.
