Paradise Real Estate and Timeshare Resale is
thrilled to announce that we have just signed the
lease for 1500 square feet of prime office space in
The Shops at Heavenly Village. This is directly across
the street from our former location of 18 years at 4105
Lake Tahoe Blvd. This fabulous new office is right in
the heart of all the excitement being generated right
now in the city of South Lake Tahoe by the new
convention center project, The Château. We will be on
the second floor above Cecil's Market with fabulous
views in three directions. The Marriott Timber Lodge is
just a few steps from this premium new Paradise
location.
The office is currently being remodeled and we expect
to have it open before the end of July. Like our current
office, it will be equipped with cutting-edge technology
and wireless high-speed internet access to make our
agents more efficient. The extensive foot traffic at the
Heavenly Village will allow Paradise to do an even
better job of matching timeshare buyers and sellers.

If you are not using your timeshare and would like to
sell, Paradise Real Estate & Timeshare Resale will
help you. In the February Newsletter, we explained
why you should never pay an upfront fee to sell your
timeshare. This month
we provide the answers to common questions about
selling your timeshare:
Q. What fees will I pay when I list my timeshare for
sale with Paradise?
A. ABSOLUTELY NONE! Paradise does not charge
any upfront fees! That means no listing fees and no
appraisal fees. We earn our commission when your
timeshare is SOLD and collect and it during the
escrow process.
Q. What can I expect when I list my timeshare for sale
with Paradise?
A. Your timeshare will be aggressively marketed
through our many advertising vehicles. These efforts
include the popular "Hot Sheets" circulated at our
office, skilled sales presentations, exposure on our
web site, monthly e-mail newsletter, internet banner
ads, TV commercials, radio spots, direct mail, print
ads in newspapers and magazines along with
classified advertising and many other marketing tools.
Q. How much is the commission?
A. Our commission varies depending on the resort,
size of unit and season. Please contact one of our
friendly agents toll-free at 1-800-996-2001 for an exact
quote. Remember, we only earn our commission after
the sale of your timeshare. It is collected during the
escrow process.
Q. Will I have to pay closing costs?
A. Typically, the buyer pays the closing costs on most
of our timeshare transactions but there is no set rule.

Thank you for reading our newsletter. I am very happy
to report that the Angora Fire that started on Sunday,
June 24 near South Lake Tahoe is now 100 percent
contained. This was the worst natural disaster in the
Lake Tahoe area in over 50 years. Fire damage
estimates exceed $150 million and the State of
California declared a state of emergency to help with
funding. An illegal campfire started the Angora Fire. It
consumed 3100 acres and destroyed 254 residential
homes. More than 2000 firefighters were called in to
control the blaze. Miraculously, there were no serious
injuries. I personally know several families who have
lost their homes and all their possessions. This is the
time for good neighbors to step up and help those in
need.
Paradise Real Estate & Timeshare Resale is helping
to organize a coalition of concerned local businesses
to help the victims of the Angora Fire. My wife and I are
spearheading the efforts of Tahoe Businesses Who
Care. We are recruiting local businesses to join the
program and donate a percentage of their gross
revenues to assist the victims of this catastrophic fire.
The Tahoe Douglas Rotary Club will help collect the
donations for Tahoe Businesses Who Care and
distribute them to local nonprofit organizations that
will help victims of the Angora Fire. I donated 20
percent of all timeshare resale commissions last
week to this very worthy cause. We are also accepting
in-kind donations for fire victims at our new office
location. If you would like to help, please make your

An event like this helps to put everything into
perspective. You realize how fragile life can be and
how quickly things can change. It also reminds us to
always be extremely cautious with fire. I can tell you
first hand that firefighters simply cannot stop a wind
driven forest fire. This is especially timely around the
Fourth of July and fireworks season. Please be safe
