It's hard to imagine any season being "off" at Lake Tahoe! Exchange companies like R.C.I. agree.
Resort Condominiums International (R.C.I.) has found that Tahoe timeshare property has a much higher trading demand in September than the typical resort destination.
Consequently, R.C.I established trading seasons based on ACTUAL TRADE DEMAND for Lake Tahoe timeshares. The value of trade demand has created a unique position for many Lake Tahoe resort owners; purchasing an off-season week that can trade "red" (high season).

Lake Tahoe, already among the top 10 timeshare resort trade destinations, is poised to become even more in demand as a result of area redevelopment plans. For many years South Lake Tahoe's redevelopment was little more than a good idea. Ed McCarthy sums up the recent action "First, the gondola began operating, and now the Marriott development is rising out of the ground and suddenly everyone's interest is piqued like magic."
McCarthy is the developer of the Stardust Lodge timeshare, located across the street from Heavenly Ski Resort's recently completed aerial gondola and the now under-construction Marriott Grand Residence Club quarter-share resort. McCarthy said "Our timeshare owners now, essentially, believe we're in the right place at the right time."

For the first week after the shocking events of September 11th, we found our personal mourning mirrored by our customers (timeshare buyers and sellers). Now, however, we are witnessing a change of heart as optimism replaces grief. Timeshares are once again moving from sellers to buyers with our assistance.
